Overview
The Normaltown and Boulevard area is one of the oldest parts of Athens and was the first part of town wired for electricity in 1896. Normaltown’s location is a big reason for its popularity because it is close to downtown, UGA, and Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. However, Normaltown is uniquely its own neighborhood with homes that feature all types of architecture in close proximity to many well-known shops and restaurants.
