Five Points is one of Athens more popular areas for many reasons. Located right next to UGA’s South Campus, people living in 5 Points can walk to UGA sporting events like football and baseball games along with many popular neighborhood bars and restaurants. Most of this area was developed in the 1930s to 50s giving the streets a feel of older American neighborhoods featuring brick homes, sidewalks, and mature landscapes.
Area Hot Spots
The 5 Points area is popular for local restaurants and bars like The Pine Bar, Marker 7 Coastal Grille, The Expat, The Royal Peasant, Fully Loaded Pizza, and Local 706.
