A native southerner, Katie spent her formative years in the Greenville and Anderson areas of South Carolina. After high school, she attended the University of South Carolina where she received a BA in retail, with emphasis in merchandising and marketing. Following her college graduation, Katie moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and received her masters in education at Meredith College.
In 2010, Katie made the move to Athens, Georgia along with her husband, John. Katie and her husband, John, have two young daughters, Sloane and Scottie. Upon moving to the area, she quickly found that she had a love and talent for home buying and selling. Having sold and purchased numerous homes herself in Athens, she has gained a unique skill set from being on the client’s end of the business many times.
Before making the move from real estate as a hobby to a professional realtor, Katie gained over a decade of experience teaching Athens youth.
